Grandad Rudd (Bert Bailey) and Mr Banks (Bill Stewart) leave the pub in a state of complete inebriation. Mr Banks offers Mr Rudd a lift on his horse.

Bob (Bill Hunter) tries to phone various homes to determine which bowling ladies are home safely. He calls Jean’s husband but Jack (Alwyn Kurts) is outside emptying the teapot.

While making his deliveries, stock and station agent Bob (Bill Hunter) has spotted the car of the local policeman parked outside a neighbouring farmhouse.

Brian (Bill Young) has taken Nell (Monica Maughan) to the hospital, where her daughter works. Jim (Tony Barry) has been driving all over the district trying to find Nell, his wife.
