When it comes to collecting, looking after and sharing Australia’s audiovisual stories, we couldn’t do it without our volunteers. They are an integral part of the National Film and Sound Archive.
Our volunteers help bring NFSA programs and projects to life by guiding visitors or working behind the scenes at our Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne sites.
Whether you’re a film, television, radio or gaming enthusiast or just keen to be part of the team, we have a broad range of volunteer roles to suit people of all backgrounds and interests.
Everyone is welcome to volunteer at the NFSA, and we’re always looking for new members to join our team.
If you’d like to volunteer with us, please add your details to our Temporary Employment Register.
If you have a question about volunteering at the NFSA, please contact us at recruitment@nfsa.gov.au.
The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia acknowledges Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live and gives respect to their Elders both past and present.
