NFSA RFT 2021/P147 - Cafe Operations and Strategic Events Partnership

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) invites Tender Responses from suitably experienced individuals and organisations for the operation of the NFSA café in Acton ACT and to be party to a strategic events partnership in accordance with NFSA Request for Tender (RFT) 2021/P147.

As part of a strategic events partnership, the NFSA will work closely with the preferred Tenderer to co-design, collaborate, and deliver mutually beneficial, revenue-enhancing opportunities to build the NFSA and the café’s shared image, brand, and customer/visitor experience.

Tenderers are also invited to set out their capacity and capability to deliver catering, venue hire, and/or events management services as part of supplementary business opportunities for further collaboration.

All Tender Responses must be delivered by e-mail to tenders [at] nfsa.gov.au by no later than 2:00PM AEST, Friday 9 July 2021.

Update 11 June 2021: NFSA RFT 2021_P242 - Excess Audio Collection Items - Addendum 2 has now been issued

This document clarifies the estimated pallet weight of the International Main Run (Shellac Records; Pallets No. 1–61), and provides a formal response to a received clarification request regarding payment protocols.

NFSA RFT 2021/P242 - Excess Audio Collection Items

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) invites Tender Responses from collection and preservation institutions, artists and collectors, industry and private sector figures, and members of the public for the acquisition and removal of excess audio collection items in accordance with NFSA Request For Tender (RFT) 2021/P242.

There are three (3) large recorded sound collections currently stored within 77 pallets at the NFSA Mitchell Warehouse (ACT): the International Main Run (Shellac Records); the Mastertouch Collection (Piano Rolls); and the International Cylinder Run (Blue Amberol Cylinders).

The NFSA are now conducting an open market approach to accept Tender Responses and associated offers from interested individuals and entities for the acquisition and removal of the excess audio collection items on a per pallet basis, up to a total of 77 pallets.

All Tender Responses must be delivered by e-mail to tenders [at] nfsa.gov.au by no later than 2:00PM AEST, Friday 25 June 2021.
