A guide to Your Stuff
With Your Stuff, you can save and share our collection items and stories. This is your guide to getting started with your account and troubleshooting any issues.
Create a Your Stuff account
Ready to start saving your own collection? .
- You can sign up with an email and password. Or you can use your Google, LinkedIn or Apple account.
- Add your preferred name so we know how to greet you. This will be visible when you share lists with friends.
- Start saving right away (or start building your lists).
Save your favourites

With more than 5,500 online collection items and a rich selection of articles, deep dives and listicles – you can save your favourite audiovisual memories and revisit them anytime.
- Look for the bookmark icon or the prompt 'Save to Your Stuff' across the site.
- Everything you save lands in All Saves.
- A filled-in bookmark means it’s already in one of your lists.
Create lists
Shape your collection, your way. Turn saved items into curated lists—by theme, era, artist, mood, or anything that inspires you.
- When you save an item, choose 'Create a new list' or add it to an existing list.
- You can save an item to multiple lists at once.
- Watch for the pop-up confirmation at the bottom of the page when a save succeeds.

To view all your lists, click on at the top of the page.
Edit Your Lists
It’s easy to fine-tune your collection.
- Open any list from your account to remove items (uncheck the bookmark or use Remove).
- Reorder and refine to tell the story you want.

Share Your Lists
Share what you love with friends, colleagues, or your community.
- Use the Share function to send lists via email, Facebook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp.

Manage Your Newsletters
Get the best of the NFSA in your inbox. Choose the stories and updates you want, and change your preferences anytime in Your Stuff.
- In Focus: monthly stories from Australia’s screen and sound history, every month.
- What’s On: your fortnightly guide to NFSA events and experiences in Canberra.
- Player: occasional drops of the new titles, deep cuts and lost masterpieces on NFSA Player.
Update your subscriptions in Your Stuff → Your Newsletters.
Refer a friend
- Bring your friends along. Invite others to discover and curate their own favourites.
- Look for “Refer a friend” when signed in by opening your .
Share via email, Facebook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp.
Access Your Stuff
- Find your saves and lists fast. Your account tray is always just a click away.
- When logged out, look for the person icon at the top of the page.
- When logged in, you’ll see your name or first initial.
- Once logged in click on your name or first initial to open the Your Stuff tray on the right side of the page.

Access other NFSA services and products
Your NFSA account gives you access to Your Stuff, Your Lists, Your Newsletters and Your Tickets (to events and experiences at the NFSA in Acton, Canberra).
For other NFSA services, jump straight to:
- Access your Player streaming account using your existing credentials.
- Access your Online shop account using your existing credentials.
Privacy and terms of use
Your privacy matters and you can find out what information we gather and how we’ll store it.
We want you to have fun with Your Stuff but we also want to ensure that contributions are safe for everyone. Lists are periodically reviewed to ensure they fit with our Web Terms of Use.
Reset your password
Need to update your password? Follow the prompts on the sign-in screen
Delete your NFSA account including Your Stuff
Want to close your NFSA account? You’re in control—but deletion is permanent.
- You can delete your account and associated data by submitting this form
- Submitting this request confirms your account and associated data will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored
- This includes your ticketing account, booking history, Your Saves, Your Lists, your email subscriptions, and select personal information on file
- To book tickets in the future, you will need to create a new account
- If you only want to unsubscribe from our mailing lists, edit your newsletter subscriptions here.
