We help a broad range of people access the collection including researchers, documentarians, cultural organisations, broadcasters, podcasters, film festivals, cinemas, and local community groups.

Please note, we do not provide copies of collection material for personal interest.

You can use our catalogue Search the Collection to identify and request access to specific NFSA collection items. Fees will apply.

Thank you for considering the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) collection for your items.

To start the offer process, you will be taken to a form where you can provide all the information we need and tell us about the items you are offering to the collection. Before completing your offer form, we recommend you check the NFSA's national catalogue in case the item/s you are offering are already held.

Located in the cultural precinct of Acton in Canberra, our 1930s Art Deco building is an intimate and memorable location for your next event. 

We have four state-of-the-art venues and a dedicated technical team. Our venue hire services take care of every detail, so you just need to turn up and enjoy your event.
