In celebration of our Young Talent Time 50th anniversary curated collection, author, television scriptwriter and YTT fan Clare Atkins shares her childhood love of the show in this short story.

Young Talent Time debuted over 50 years ago on 24 April 1971.

Young Talent Time fans are truly dedicated and this is a fine example of how the show consciously paid tribute to them and endeavoured to centre them in the show.
