The NFSA provided nearly three-quarters of the footage used in the groundbreaking four-part series Australia in Colour.

The NFSA has completed a digital restoration of the documentary Witches and Faggots, Dykes and Poofters, about the very first Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras on 24 June 1978.

Anna Haebich, a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University in Perth, showcases West Australian Aboriginal performing arts and the plays, music, dance and festivals in the NFSA collection.
