Franky (Hunter Page) and Maddie (Alexa Miller) are walking along the railroad track. Eddy (Blake Herczeg) pulls up in a taxi and urges Franky to get into the cab because they are late.

The sun rises on the mining fields. Sam contends with the isolation by digging in old belongings stored in the shed. Her dog is still missing.

It is dark on the mining plain, and Sam (Ngaire Pigram) drives her car towards home. Sam fiddles with something near the passenger seat, her eyes momentarily averted from the road.

Two tourists are fussing around in front of a statue. Vinnie (Kelton Pell) and Franky AKA The Dutchman (Bruce Hutchison) are growing frustrated, and eventually hurry them out of the way.

Vinnie (Kelton Pell) is sitting beneath a tree in the park, sketching from an old photograph. Franky (Bruce Hutchison) approaches him with a photo of his own.
