Usual name for an ultrasonic film cleaning machine.
Many equipment manufacturers make film cleaning machines that make use of ultrasonic agitation of the cleaning solvent.
In ultrasonic cleaning, powerful shock waves created by the cavitation of separate impurities from film in the cleaning tank. This is followed by a high pressure rinse with filtered solvent to make sure no loose particles are carried away from the film when it leaves the cleaning tank.
