Light is the aspect of radiant energy of which a human observer is aware through the visual sensations which arise from the stimulation of the retina of the eye. Light is one of a number of know forms of radiant energy that travel with wave motion.

Light emitting Diode (LED): A type of low-level light component used in many frame count and time code systems.
