Cement (film)
Usually consists of a solvent based synthetic resin, used for a variety of joining purposes in repairing film or editing of film. May contain acetone.
A cement splice is used primarily by original negative cutters. In a cement splice the two pieces of film overlap each other and are fused together with film cement.
