
A desk like construction where film may be wound, viewed and/or repaired.
They are normally fitted with winders (manual or electric), a lightbox, a power point and accessory shelves. There are two types of winding equipment mounted on, or in, the bench:
1. Vertical, the film is mounted vertically between plates and wound as such.
2. Horizontal, the reels are laid flat.
Both have benefits.
