November at Arc Cinema

Arc Cinema Program at the NFSA – November 2021

Canberra Screenings and Events
 Matt Kemp

We’re overjoyed to reopen the doors of Arc Cinema and welcome you to join us for an amazing line-up this November!

This month we’re featuring 7 films starring Laura Dern to coincide with the launch of Melissa Anderson’s book on Inland Empire. From Dern's early independent films to blockbusters, each film offers a great look at the work of an amazing talent.

November's program includes some unmissable documentaries about real-life stories with the potential to change the way you look at the world. We also have plenty of Australian films from classics like The Shiralee (1957) to the gripping recent release Nitram (2021), each demonstrating amazing Australian filmmaking talent.

Continuing our series of interactive, ‘Arc Out Loud’ screenings we bring you the mind-bending, divisive and ambitious Dune (1984), a film that only David Lynch could make. And don’t miss the chance to see the heartwarming story of Babe (1995) with the family!

Please help us keep everyone safe by reading and following our COVID-safety and visitor information and don’t forget to get your Club NFSA card when you arrive.
