
Gustav Kovacs Home Movie, Migrating to Western Australia, 1951. Pioneering Hungarian film maker Gustav Kovacs emigrated to Australia on board the ship 'Anna Salen' and arrived in Fremantle on 31st December 1950. He filmed the experience on board as well as arriving at Fremantle and scenes of migrant camps at Northam and Graylands (W.A) are seen. Included are scenes of Perth and Scarborough beach in 1951.
