In the 1000th episode of Simon Townsend's Wonder World!, Simon looks back on how the show began.
Starting from Simon's roots as a newspaper and television journalist, to a glimpse of the very first pilot he made for a show called The Ripper Report (1973), which featured three reporters who also hosted the show.
And then we see the opening of his pilot for Simon Townsend's Wonder World! (1976) where he hosted and introduced the stories.
