This clip shows the repatriation of returned soldiers from the First World War, including facilities for injured and psychologically affected people. Among the vocational retraining schemes offered are courses in building construction, bricklaying, barber training, pottery, automobile assembly, furniture-making and joinery and farming. Permanently incapacitated ex-servicemen play musical instruments and practise handicrafts from their beds at an Anzac Hostel. We also glimpse Returned Soldiers' farms.
