Glass cinema slide for The Man From Snowy River

Commercially manufactured theatrical projector glass slide used for advertising at the cinema. This slide would have been shown before the feature film and at intervals during the night's screenings. Despite the main image being of the two romantic leads; Tom Burlinson and Sigrid Thornton; only the names of Kirk Douglas and Jack Thompson appear on the slide. It was the first feature film for both Burlinson and Thornton who were virtually unknown to cinema audiences.
