Australian-Canadian racing car driver Allan Moffat (1939–2025) was a four-time Australian Touring Car Champion and winner of four Bathurst races, best remembered for his success driving Ford Falcons and for his intense rivalry with Holden driver Peter Brock. He was inducted into the Australian Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.

In this excerpt from 24 Hours at Le Mans, Moffat takes a leisurely drive around the Le Mans circuit three days before competing in the famous French endurance race in a Porsche 935 turbo. Moffat and his team would ultimately fall short, forced to pull out with engine troubles, 134 laps into the 339-lap race while in fourth place.
