Crocodile Dundee: Hat worn by Paul Hogan

This is the black, wide-brimmed hat worn by Mick Dundee (Paul Hogan) in Crocodile Dundee (1986). It's a notable piece of film history, closely linked to the highest-grossing Australian film of all time at the local box office. Crocodile Dundee also made an international movie star of the man who wore it, Paul Hogan. 

Crocodile Dundee's costume designer was Norma Moriceau, who had worked wonders on the gritty Max Max (1979). The hat band is made of crocodile leather and ringed with 17 crocodile teeth.
