Crocodile Dundee: prototype knife prop

A well-crafted prop and a memorable line of dialogue can define a movie. That's certainly the case for Crocodile Dundee (1986) when Mick Dundee (Paul Hogan) reveals his oversized blade on the streets of New York City while uttering the immortal lines, ‘That’s not a knife. That's a knife!’ 

This knife and sheath set came from Paul Hogan’s personal collection. While not used on screen, it’s a prototype for the final prop and perfectly matches Dundee’s outback look. More than just a replica, it’s a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of a cinematic legend.
