This red, six-string electric rhythm guitar is signed by members of No Fixed Address, an Indigenous band that made a pivotal mark on Australian culture with their reggae-rock protest music and powerful anthems of First Nations resistance and survival. This piece of rock music history symbolises their cultural impact, and is a reminder of some of the 'firsts' they achieved, including first Indigenous band to appear on the iconic music TV show Countdown (1982) and first Aboriginal band to tour the United Kingdom. They even received an invitation from the Soviet Union to perform behind the Iron Curtain in 1988. Signatures include those of guitarists Chris Jones and Les Graham, bassist John Miller and vocalist/saxophonist/flautist Veronica Rankine.
