Poo-Chi (also spelled Poochi or Poochie) was one of the first generations of robo-pet toys, popular in the early 2000s. This interactive dog responded to touch, sound and movement, barking electronic songs, wagging its tail and performing tricks. Like the Tamagotchi and Furby, Poo-Chi was a pioneering blend of cuteness and early robotics. Warning: this toy is so adorable it might trigger ‘cute aggression’ – the irresistible urge to squeeze, pinch or even crush it.
