Sold by fast-food chain Pizza Hut for the sum of $1.95 each, five characters – Blinky Bill, Marcia, Flap, Nutsy and Splodge – had toys released to promote the 1992 film Blinky Bill: The Mischievous Koala. Nutsy the Koala is pictured here in all her plastic hand-puppet glory.
Many animated films targeted at a children's audience will extend their theatrical promotional tools outside of posters and images and into toy merchandising like this because it's mutually beneficial to both the film studio and food chain. In this case, a child might want to see Blinky Bill: The Mischievous Koala after getting the Nutsy toy, or if they were already a fan of the movie, encourage their parents to go to Pizza Hut to try and collect every character.
