What does Australia sound like to you?
Nominations are now open for Sounds of Australia 2025 – the NFSA’s annual audio time capsule. It’s your chance to help us honour the sounds that shaped our lives and culture.
Think songs, speeches, jingles, radio moments, viral audio, podcasts, nature sounds – if it’s Australian and over 10 years old, it’s eligible.
Nominations close 30 June 2025.
The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia acknowledges Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live and gives respect to their Elders both past and present.
