The Delo and Daly Show was an early 1960s television show hosted by two charismatic American performers, Ken Delo and Jonathan Daly.
The comedic pair brought a Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis vibe to Australian television with their music and variety show, which included comedy sketches, an in-house orchestra, weekly performances by vocal group Take Five and a dance troupe called the Joe Latona Dancers. They also showcased up-and-coming Australian singers and musicians.
In this comedy sketch from episode 10 of the show, Ken Delo interviews a travelling folk singer, played by Jonathan Daly, in a segment called 'Let's Talk'.
The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia acknowledges Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live and gives respect to their Elders both past and present.
