We are situated in the heart of Canberra on McCoy Circuit, Acton, between the shores of Lake Burley Griffin and the grounds of the Australian National University. Just a 10-minute walk from the city and state bus interchanges.
ON THE NUMBER 3
Route 3 runs between Belconnen Bus Interchange and Woden Bus Station on average every 20 minutes from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm weekdays. Bus alights at Liversidge St behind the NFSA.
ON THE NUMBER 7
Route 7 runs between Belconnen Bus Interchange and National Museum of Australia on average every 30 minutes from 5.30 am to 6.30 pm weekdays. Bus alights at Liversidge St behind the NFSA.
ON THE NUMBER 81
The Tourist Loop runs approximately every hour from 10.20 am to 4.20 pm, visiting a number of Canberra's cultural institutions. To use this service to visit the NFSA, alight at New Acton [Stop 3036] and proceed 600 metres along Gordon Street to the entrance on McCoy circuit.
ON THE FREE CITY LOOP SERVICE
Transport Canberra now offers a free city-loop bus which connects with most buses at the Canberra City Interchange, 7 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday with buses around every ten minutes. To use this service to visit the NFSA, alight at New Acton [Stop 3036] and proceed 600 metres along Gordon Street to the entrance on McCoy circuit.
ON THE NUMBER 934
Route 934 runs between Belconnen Bus Interchange and Woden Bus Station every hour from 7.30 am to 10.30 pm Saturdays and 8.30 am to 7.30 pm Sundays. Bus alights at Liversidge St behind the NFSA.
Note: the NFSA is not open to the general public on weekends, but the above route will be of assistance for our occasional weekend film screenings or special events - see our upcoming events calendar.

There is dedicated visitor paid parking on the premises between McCoy Circuit and Ellery Cresent. There is also limited free parking surrounding the building on Liversidge Street.
