This excerpt from concert film Australian Made: The Movie is an exhilarating capsule of 1980s live music. Funk-pop group I'm Talking perform their hit song 'Lead the Way' at the Australian Made tour, anchored by 21-year-old Kate Ceberano's infectious lead vocals.

Sweaty close-ups of the band and their bouncing feet, always in constant motion, capture the performance's high energy, along with the chemistry between Ceberano and fellow vocalist Zan Abeyratne. Soon after this tour, the group officially disbanded. The footage acts as a record of their striking dance rhythms, stage presence and matching outfit choices.

Australian Made was an ambitious open-air concert tour that travelled the country in the summer of 1987. It features performances by INXS alongside appearances from the Saints, Models, Divinyls and more. Australian Made: The Movie was released in cinemas, on television and on home video, reflecting the significance of the tour as a showcase of major Australian rock performers of the era.
