BMX Bandits was an Australian film directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith and released locally in December 1983 at a time when BMX bikes were enjoying a surge in popularity among children and teenagers. The film is notable for starring a teenage Nicole Kidman in one of her first major roles, but BMX Bandits also gained cult status around the world, making this T-shirt tie-in a hot property. The stunts were a big part of the film's draw, and were performed by Craig White and Diamond Back Factory Team Pro riders Jim O'Neill and Robert Moreton.
