Bedlam

1988

  • NFSA ID1734203
  • Year1988

This is the original packaging for the Commodore 64 game Bedlam, developed by Melbourne’s Beam Software. The vibrant, futuristic artwork reflects its space-based shooting gameplay and two-player feature. While there is nothing distinctively Australian about the science-fiction-style hero on the cover, who resembles an American football player, Bedlam is an example of Australia’s contribution to early computer gaming from the 1980s.
