Out of Here, written by and starring Tina Fielding, follows the story of a gay woman living with Down syndrome who prepares to attend her first Pride parade. This 2020 trailer reflects the web series' exuberant take on self-acceptance, where the fear of new experience co-exists with discovery and joy.

The clip reflects the series' retro visual and sonic influences: big hair, a disco score and streaks of glitter herald the brave adventures of Billie (Fielding). Vivid pops of colour in both the costuming and the set design underscore the story's focus on pride and Billie's determination to put herself out there. The trailer doesn't shy away from the grimmer parts of Billie's journey – viewers can see her in a jail cell at one point – but Billie continues to dance through the chaos.

Produced in Western Australia, Out There is a four-part series shot entirely in the Perth metro area and supported by Screenwest.
