John Williamson and Mike McClellan perform an engaging cover of the Australian classic 'Home Among the Gumtrees' on the Sunday program, broadcast on 18 September 1983.

The song was written in 1974 by Captain Rock (Wally Johnson and Bob Brown) as an entry to the Australian National Anthem Quest run by the Australian government to find a replacement for 'God Save the Queen' as Australia's national anthem. The Australian Council For the Arts eventually settled on 'Advance Australia Fair' but this song became a hit when it was covered by John Williamson.

Sunday, a unique mix of news, current affairs, arts and culture, ran from 1981 to 2008 on the Nine Network.
