Kennedy would admit to Melbourne newspaper The Sun upon the film's release in 1985 that 'I’m only an extra really but that doesn’t diminish the thrilling experience for me of watching a great film being made. It’s a stunning production. Other extras have more screen time than me and I’d prefer to say that I’m almost in it.'
