Refreshingly surreal and delightfully eccentric, the members of Mental as Anything began their journey as art school graduates from East Sydney Technical College before taking the music scene by storm with their wild gigs and irresistibly catchy tunes. Their album Get Wet soared to No. 19 on the Australian charts, while its debut single, ‘The Nips Are Getting Bigger’ – a cheeky yet cautionary anthem about drinking – climbed to No. 16 on the singles chart.

Paul Worstead crafted the eye-catching pop-art-style album cover. The colourful look perfectly matches the band's playful energy, unsurprisingly since Worstead's history with the Mentals dated back to their art-school days. As a lead designer for Mambo clothing, Worstead became known for his bold, vibrant style and later launched his own fashion labels, Ashtray and Jimmy Jones Souvenirs. His colourful surf-meets-streetwear designs defined ‘90s leisurewear and captured the spirit of the time.
