If it's hard for some to accept there is snow in Australia at all what about snow falling in summer! This news clip shows some heavy falls only two weeks before the official start of summer. But even during the warmer months, a light dusting can often appear on the higher summits of the Australian Alps. It's not such a freak event as you might imagine.
