Ten News file footage of a gay rights demonstration that saw 300 people march from the fourth National Homosexual Conference at Paddington Town Hall to Taylor Square and Hyde Park in Sydney, 27 August 1978. The demonstration was in opposition to an anti-abortion and anti-homosexual rally in Hyde Park, which had been organised by Fred Nile and the Festival of Light against the conference. This extended clip includes footage of both rallies.
