Lindsay and Joan have been composing and performing together for 27 years, beginning with their arrival in the Taree/Forster region (NSW). Lindsay first picked up the guitar as a young teenager, whilst Joan has been singing since “she could talk”. They have both performed in local musicals in Cowra and have even formed a local Quartet for a time.
Their song, Australian Christmas has been shared throughout rural NSW and places us in quintessential auzzie settings, complete with rolling surf, blue gums, drovers and billy tea. Its relaxed vocals and keyboard melody channels the vibe of 60’s Lounge, perfect for a quiet afternoon of contemplation after a family Christmas buffet.
Each year on Christmas day, Australian Christmas is played on the local Great Lakes F.M radio station.
