Together Bob Connolly and Robin Anderson produced some of the most remarkable documentaries about power, politics and personalities. The NFSA holds an oral history interview with the two of them together, but it is this one where Bob lays out the lore of their relationship speaking about Robin's death in 2005. Here Bob lights a cigarette that sparks his admiration of and adoration for Robin, his lifelong filmmaking partner and late wife. "She taught me how to live, and by god, she taught me how to die." The NFSA's oral history collection serves to tell the stories behind the stories with a distinct intimacy that only an oral history can preserve.
