When is a bowling pin also an Australian pop culture artefact? When it's signed by members of the Cockroaches – the pub rock band founded in 1979, two of whose members later formed the Wiggles. It has signatures of band members Tony Henry, Paul Field (managing director of the Wiggles), Phil Robinson, John Field and two of the original Wiggles, Jeff Fatt (Purple) and Anthony Field (Blue).

First prize in the May 1987 'Bowl a Cockroach' competition in Countdown magazine was to go tenpin bowling with the Cockroaches. Ten consolation prize packs went to the lucky runners-up, with each winner receiving a signed bowling pin, accompanying certificate and a vinyl copy of the band's debut album, The Cockroaches (1987).
