An example of good storytelling: a little of Elijah’s fear of snakes and discomfort with Annie has been laid in earlier but only sketchily. Here, in less than two minutes, we get succinct character exposition, a plot with a beginning, middle and end, an observation on the social customs and class distinctions of the time and a nice dose of humour. Tropfest aspirants take note.
