Book Heroes on the Big Screen, these school holidays at the NFSA!

Beloved books become magical movies at Arc cinema these April school holidays for the two-week Book Heroes on Screen season.

Enjoy a selection of exciting works that have successfully taken the leap from book to the big screen, and go on a journey of discovery (and rediscovery!) - all from the comfort of the National Film and Sound Archive’s Arc cinema.

From thrilling adventures with Roald Dahl’s The BFG in 3D, to the timeless 1964 classic Mary Poppins on 35mm film, to a double feature of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, parts one and two!
