When Charles Farrell came to Australia in 1936 to appear in The Flying Doctor, he brought with him a touch of Hollywood glamour and the aura of a big-name star.
The Heidelberg Golf Club in Melbourne recently donated to the NFSA a film from the 1920s showing the club and its surrounds at the time of its formation.
The NFSA is proud to announce that its reconstruction of the censored 1917 film The Great Strike has been inscribed in the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Register.
