Sweet As + Q&A M

Living in a remote mining town in Western Australia, teenager Murra (Shantae Barnes-Cowan) mostly looks after herself while her mother (Ngaire Pigram) battles addiction. After one of one of her mother’s parties goes wrong, Murra reaches out to her uncle Ian (Mark Coles Smith) for help finding a way out.
He enrols her in a travelling photography program for at-risk kids. Murra and three fellow campers – Elvis (Pedrea Jackson), Kylie (Mikayla Levy) and Sean (Andrew Wallace) – now have a chance at a new future, but will they take it?
Inspired by a true story, Sweet As is an uplifting coming-of-age road movie about unconventional friendships, with incredible performances from its young cast.
