THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

David Gulpilil is an iconic figure of Australian cinema and has been for 50 years. His mesmerising, electrifying presence has leapt off the big screen and changed Australian screen representation in the process.

Known for his unforgettable performances in films like Storm Boy (1976), Crocodile Dundee (1986), Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002) and many more, David's films have grossed more than $100 million at the Australian box office.

Now nearing the end of his life, David generously shares his own story in My Name is Gulpilil. The actor, dancer, singer and painter leads us boldly through the journey of his most extraordinary, culture-clashing life.

Join us after the screening for a Q&A with director Molly Reynolds, facilitated by Dr Jilda Andrews.

‘The effect is unbearably moving and utterly engaging. There is no film quite like this in our cinema, just as there is no one quite like the man’ – The Age
