One of our greatest directors talks about making the transition from music video to feature film. Richard Lowenstein’s feature films include Strikebound (1984), Dogs in Space (1986 – screening after this In Conversation session), and He Died with a Falafel in his Hand (2001). Equally impressive is the visual direction he gave to musical acts INXS, Jenny Morris, Cold Chisel, Crowded House, Hunters and Collectors, The Church and U2 through his inventive music video work.
