This Howard Hawks classic was not a box-office hit on its first release but is now recognised as one of the greatest screwball comedies ever made.

A straitlaced  paleontologist  (Cary Grant)  is trying to attract funding to his museum, finish work on a dinosaur fossil and prepare for his imminent wedding. All his plans are thrown into chaos by the arrival of an eccentric heiress (Katharine Hepburn) and her pet leopard.

‘The enduring fascination of this 1938 screwball comedy is due to much more than its uproarious gags’ – The New Yorker
