Breakfast at Tiffany's
The iconic 1961 film adaptation of Truman Capote’s novella opens on Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) arriving at the famous Fifth Avenue jewellery store, Tiffany’s.
Wearing a black ball gown with matching gloves, an elaborate updo, oversized sunglasses and several lush strands of pearls, she bites into a pastry as 'Moon River’ swells on the soundtrack.
The film is about Holly and the aspiring writer (George Peppard) who moves into her apartment building. Together they forge a relationship grounded in their desire to find a better life for themselves, but her past threatens to get in the way of them finding the true meaning of happiness.
