Enjoy a free film screening of Barry Lyndon (1975), directed by Stanley Kubrick and based on the 1844 novel The Luck of Barry Lyndon by William Makepeace Thackeray.
The film was also partly inspired by the paintings of Thomas Gainsborough and Joshua Reynolds.
The screening complements Botticelli to Van Gogh: Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London at the National Gallery of Australia.
