Aussie Indies: Unsound
Our regular spotlight on recent highlights from the Australian independent filmmaking scene.
Unsound is an Australian feature directed by Ian Watson (Doctor Doctor, Janet King).
When gigging guitarist Noah (Reece Noi, Game of Thrones) quits the band of ‘90s pop icon Moniqua (Christine Anu), he returns to his mother (Paula Duncan) in Sydney.
Noah soon finds himself swept up in the life of Finn (Yiana Pandelis), a young, emerging trans man who is deaf and runs a community centre and nightclub in his local community with his father (Todd McKenney).
This screening is an Open Caption session.
