Love to read

Today, 14 February 2012, is the formal launch date for the National Year of Reading. The NFSA is proud to support this important initiative that celebrates the joy of reading and champions literacy skills as the foundation to lifelong learning.

The NFSA will be actively participating in the National Year of Reading and has developed an exciting program of activities that engages reading within an audiovisual context.

Literacy skills open doorways to a world of knowledge and learning, exploration and discovery, creativity and innovation. The NFSA provides the path to our audiovisual cultural heritage and diversity through a range of activities that aims to enthuse and inspire people, young and old, as they connect and learn more about the national audiovisual collection.
