Internship Program

The NFSA offers Internships to support final year and post graduate students from Australian and overseas tertiary institutions with specific research projects relating to the NFSA collections and its programs. Eligible students may select from an exciting range of NFSA projects that engage with all aspects of Australia's historic and contemporary moving image and recorded sound culture and audiovisual archiving.

Internships are undertaken onsite, providing the student with the opportunity to work alongside NFSA's expert curatorial, technical and administrative staff that will guide them through their project. Students will also have privileged access to a range of NFSA facilities and support services.

Whilst the projects have been designed to meet NFSA priorities, some flexibility may be possible depending on the student's field of study, research experience, availability and timing within the academic year. For further information, please contact:
